Richmond

Civilized & Revolutionary

Richmond was founded in 1737 and has a wealth of history.  It played a key role during the Civil War as the Capital of the Confederacy. Throughout the Richmond area, you can find museums, battlefields and historic sites that represent our past.

Another notable event took place at St. Johns' Church in Richmond when Patrick Henry uttered the words, "Give me liberty or give me death".

A visit down Monument Avenue and tours of our many museums will give you a wonderful overview of over a 300 year history of the most famous southern city.
